Only 1 week to go

Only one week to go until my broadband goes back to normal speed. Can't wait!!!!!!!!! So sick of waiting bloody 10 mins for a web page to open. So at least I have been getting practise on my programs that dont rely on web speed. Like Adobe Photoshop for example:-

More hair stuff

Well got my hair done again. Just cant help myself. My friend is doing her appretiship through TAFE and I thought that I would be a test pilot for her. She did a great job I love my hair cut and she also did some blond foils but my hair was too fragile to do too many but I will be going back for more later.

I have used all of my internet limit up for the month and I am only 16 days into the month so I wont be posting much for a couple of weeks cause my speed has slowed down to 28k tooooooo sloooooow!!!!!

My cousin had a baby boy HUNTER 7 pound 6 ounces Congrats to Suzel and Brian on another boy. (looks like you have to go again to get that girl)

Aunty again!! Yay!

My sister in-law had a baby boy today at 12.08 Lunch time today. Her waters broke yesterday morning then nothing all day and night and then again this morning she got up and whoosh again. She went into hospital and they said yes your waters have broken we will get a bed ready for you to wait until you start contractions and labour by the time the nurse got back to say the bed was ready she was in full on labour 1 and a half hours later she gave birth to a 7 pound 14 ounces / 53cm long / HC 33cm baby boy. Ashton David Reedy born 14th September 2006.
I went to pick Tristan up from daycare and told him that Aunty Nicole had her baby, Tristan went crazy running around the playground saying yay! I have 3 cousins now yay!!!! Telling everyone it was so funny.





I did an introduction to hairdressing course last year and meet a couple of really nice girls and have remained in contact with them. One of them is getting married next year and asked if I could help with the invitations. I was so happy that she asked me. The three of us got together on Tuesday and had a great old gasbag. It was just what I needed a day of paper craft and talking and eating (don't need the eating side so much). and the invites turned out really nice.

Rude people.... Why?

I can not understand why some people have to be deliberately rude!!!! Our newest neighbours to the street are totally rude and ignorant. The mother is permenately frowning and never acknowledges that you are there, you could be standing two meters away from her and she will look the other way instead of saying hi and now her children are the same. Why????? I have no idea. The day they moved in I went over and introduced myself and my family and to welcome them to the street, the next day I offered for her children to play in our back yard so she could unpack and she said that "we are not that type of people we like to keep to ourselves we are a very close family" What the *&^% is that supposed to mean. Sorry but I have never had a neighbour who would not even wave or say hi as you walked past them. And it is not just me she does the same for the whole street and when you live in a culdesac you really notice things like that.

Other than that I had a fabulous day went to the markets with the kids and my Dad got 3 skirts and a shirt for just $10 for the lot. The boys were so well behaved. Then come home for a relaxing afternoon a little scrapping a couple of beers and a gasbag with my friend, Em, while watching Sweet Home Alabama (just love, love, love that movie). Michael has gone to a friends place to watch the footy and me and the boys just had pizza and garlic bread -great for the waistline-and then we are going to watch The Sound of Music can you believe that I have never watched it before.

Friday

I love Fridays, don't know why, since everyday is just another day but it must come from the days when I worked although every job I have ever had I always had to work weekends at some stage or other. Maybe it is that pay day thing, that is always exciting.

My poor baby boy has horrible eczema on his legs in behind his knees and it is so bad it is blistering. Makes me so sad when my boys are sore or uncomfortable and there isn't much I can do about it. Just had to spend $40 dollars at the chemist buying cream and special saop and special medicated bath oil for him. Hope it works even though he just cried himself to sleep after I put the cream on. My poor baby!!!!

Had my sisters footy tipping break up (sounds funny) this afternoon I didn't do to bad I was surprised out of about 12 people I got about 6th considering I know bugger all about footy (Rugby League) and Mum was close behind me so not a bad effort from her either. Sissy got 2nd last she was pissed that she couldn't even lose properly.

Well here's hoping for a fabulous Week-end!!!!

Sick kids again

Wow poor Tristan has been sick for nearly a week now. Last Thursday he came home from daycare not quite right and started throwing up that night which then proceeded onto the other end along with all of that he had a sore throat and keep breaking out in this weird rash all over. I thought that by Sunday all was well and then he woke up in the middle of the night and......... again lower end. Thinking there couldn't possibly be anything left and considering he had been running around like a silly chook for the next two days I decided that he could go back to daycare on Today alas I got a call at lunch time to say that Tristan had thrown up. So off to school I go to get him. He greeted me with the biggest smile and non-stop talking the whole way home and on arrival he announces that he is all better now can I go back to school please to play with my mates. Then he jumps out of the car and jumped on the trampoline for about 10 mins come inside had something to eat and then feel asleep in front of the T.V.
Touch wood he seems to be fine tonight except I discovered that he also has headlice. First time he has ever had them so both of the boys got a buzz cut #1 all over which will have to be #0 tomorrow for Tristan because his head is full of eggs. Lucky Seth doesn't appear to have any neither does Michael but unfortunately I do so off to the chemist for me tomorrow (wish I could shave my head). I have been told that if you dye your hair that will get rid of them so maybe I will try that, due for a top up.

So excited I got second place in the Daisychain monthly page comp. I got to spend some money today, love it when that happens. Here is this months page themed winter. The writing says "I love that Tristan layed down and did the Angel all by himself without any prompting from me" August 2006.

P.S. Update on the weight I have lost three kilos in three weeks not that I feel any different but I am getting there.

P.P.S. Our thoughts go out to Terry, Bindy and Bob Irwin. I had personally met them and they were lovely.
